INTERVIEW: Jordan Comolli

Hi Jordan, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Good! I actually did another interview with you guys a while back. Glad to be back!

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “BILL$”?

It’s the forthcoming single off my new EP being released early November! It’s filled with high energy. I hadn’t released in 10 months so im happy to be back

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

Not really, i suppose i just wanted come back from a 10 month break with something HARD and filled with high energy to make up for my absence

Any plans to release a video for the single?

Not with this one but me and my team have a few ideas for other tracks on the EP!

How was the recording and writing process?

All done on my own in my bedroom!

What role does the UK play in your music?

I actually grew up in America so i would definitely say my music has more of a US influence!

With your music keep getting more and more momentum – do you feel any pressure as you work on a new material or rather the opposite?

Yeah 100%. Staying relevant is key to success. But, you also have to make sure you don’t lose your sound and try to be like someone else. There’s always pressure to make something that your fans will like but also something potential new fans will like. It’s hard to please everyone and i think as an artist, that’s what we all try to do, which creates a lot of pressure.

How’s your new EP coming along?

IT’S FINISHED!!! Cant wait to drop it!

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

‘PROSPER’, expected 7th November!

How did you go on blending your trap signature style with hip hop on this record?

Same way I always do! I just went a bit different with the drops hoping to please my listeners and reach new ears!

Any plans to hit the road?

100%. Currently speaking to a few booking agents but everything’s looking good so far!

What else is happening next in Jordan Comolli’s world?

More music. More Visuals. Merch. Shows. BE READY!

Listen Bill$ here.
