On November 8 Girl Ray will release their second album Girl (Moshi Moshi) and today they share their expertly crafted new pop single, the opening and title-track from the London band’s upcoming LP. The accompanying video, directed by Crusoe Weston, sees the three-piece drive along the English coastline in a vintage convertible enjoying those British summer vibes.

Poppy Hankin said the following about “Girl”: “Well what’s it about? An intense crush where you lose all reasonable brain thoughts and can’t conceive why the hell things shouldn’t work out in rom-com style perfection.
