The debut LP [ P R E S E T S ] is a dynamic project filled with anthemic alt pop and driven by synth and guitars. A diverse collection of tracks comprised of electronic dance beats, emotional pop-rock ballads, and songs with powerful, undeniably uplifting choruses — each individual song directly corresponds to a series of personal journal entries from FUTURE FEATS frontman IJ Quinn.

IJ says,“this album documents and spans a very large chapter of my life. Each song on the album was inspired by real moments in time. It’s, essentially, a collection of traumatic past events meant to be heard from beginning to end. So I placed the dates in brackets, and have since come to refer to these pieces as: Presets.”

These impactful life events that IJ recorded over the years led to songs about love and loss, desperation and hope, and self-actualization and perseverance. [ P R E S E T S ] details IJ’s journey of learning to let go of the pitfalls and pressures that once trapped him within a feeling of impossibility.

“As difficult as it sometimes is reliving these moments,” says IJ, “I’m still looking forward to sharing more from the journal entries that all connect to tell a much bigger story about who I used to be…who I am…and who I’m proud to say I’m still becoming…”
