Ben Hughes, AKA Tall Children, returns with his third virtuoso pop single ‘Prey’

Having recently played Liverpool Sound City and created a unique live showcase for pop talent (housed at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool) ‘Tall Children presents Pop Party’, his project Tall Children is a shining light within a burgeoning Liverpool Pop scene.

An undeniable earworm, displaying Ben’s guitar skills underpinned by a shuddering bassline, ‘Prey’ continues to explore the perils of the pursuit of fame set against his Tall Children ethos around personal industry.

The content around this release features a film-star Cockatoo. Ben said: “At Parr Street Studios I am known as The Cockatoo, so given the story of ‘Prey’, it seemed fitting to find a feathered friend to represent.”

Already a collaborator with the likes producers Just Kiddin & Kova, indie mavericks Clean Cut Kid and Youngr, Tall Children has an enviable store of pop songs ready to build into 2020.
