Before start using thermal bags, one needs to know what ‘thermal bags’ actually are?. And how are they different from other bags?
Thermal bag is a bag which has pellucid thermal insulation characters. Heat or cold won’t pass through its walls. It allows to maintain the proper temperature inside the bad for longer time. Special thermal insulation materials are used to produce these bags, which improves thermal insulation properties. You must properly use thermal bag and follow all the instructions to use a thermal bag so your desired temperature can be maintained for a long time.
The volume of thermal bag:
The volume of the thermal bag must be equal to the thing that you place in it. The volume of substance should not exceed the limit. So if you want thermal bag to perform its function systematically, you must leave some space empty inside the bag.
You must use a ‘cold battery’ which is a container filled with helium or salt solution or a silicon container. The method is same; certain space is needed, which in its physical nature has high heat capacity and properties to cool or heat. Now, it can store this low or high temperature for a long time. It gives heat and cold to other objects in the thermal bag.
Open the bag only when needed:
When you open the thermal bag, the air from outside goes inside the bag. After closing the bag, if warm air enter the bag , it heats the object and similarly, if cold air enters, it cools down the object. So get the desirable results, try to open it less. It is recommended to isolate the things in a separate reusable thermal bag which are frequently used. Open the bag for shortest possible time.

Type of product.
The material from which the product is made.
The level of thermal characters.

it is really easy to distinguish a good quality thermal bags and a poor quality thermal bags. There are following points to ponder over when buying a thermal bag:
Heat/cold escapes from thermal bags through some seams, folds and lightening etc
It should have thicker wall.
Good thermal insulation material should be used. If good material is not used, then the thermal properties are reduced several times.
It should have minimum joints and
It should have separate parts and must be integral.
Walls should be fairly dense and thick.
There should be one or more layers of the material from which thermal bag is made.
