INTERVIEW: Podgy Figures

Can you talk to us more about your latest release “Official G“? 

Official G is of my EP Bread Life, I’m talking about my journey and how official its been, If you listen to my lyrics theres no gimmicks every line is official.

What inspired the track?

What inspires my music is real life activities real events I’m not the kind of artist what just makes words rhyme  my music comes from the hart I’m real artist.

Talk us through the process of filming the music video…. where did the idea come from?

When it comes to my visual I want it to be great something outside the box but culturally relevant, we shot the video in Majorca I flew the whole crew out it was fun it was hot we had a great time and thats what its all about.

The single comes off your new album Bread Life – what’s the story behind the title?

The title official G its self explanatory, it about being an Official Guy, everything you  do has to do be official.

How was the recording and writing process for the album?

I write all my music I sit down with the producers fead them some ideas give a bit of direction, every song on Bread Life has a different feel but I’m steel giving you me.

What role does West London play in your music?

West london plays a big roll in my music i am west london I represent west London I’m from acton a area in west london I speak for those that don’t have a voice in West London.

What were some of the things in life you got to explore on this record

Its alway a good feeling seeing your  music getting played in country that I never been to and one day I hope to visit.

Where else did you find the inspiration for the songs and lyrics?

All my inspiration comes from life experiences.

Any plans to hit the road?

I would love to hit the road.

What else is happening next in Podgy Figures’ world?

Im not to sure I’m in a down place mentally i got a lot of personal things going on in my life at the moment, One love to all of my supporters.
