Magnus Mia Release Their Own Rendition of NIN’s “Head Like A Hole”

Magnus Mia are an international music duo from Hong Kong and Rome, featuring Jason Magnus and Mia Schettino.

Lifelong friends with very separate and unusual musical journeys up to this point, they share a deep connection with their cultural backgrounds that they try to infuse into their songwriting.

Between their debut single “Jubilee,” and the follow-up “Fool’s Mirage,” their music has been played on radio stations in over 40 countries around the world.

They recently caught the attention of Netease, a leading China based distribution and online services company, and signed a deal with Netease Cloud Music in order to readily share their music in China.

Magnus Mia’s music can be described as alternative, electro pop, with an intimate and dreamy landscape, and poetic storytelling. They’ve been compared to the likes of Beach House and Leonard Cohen, with hints of Portishead, Metronomy and The xx.

They are musically influenced by a variety of artists ranging from Neil Young and Joy Division to Deftones and Kate Bush.

“Head Like A Hole” is their hauntingly beautiful, dark and addictive re-imagination of the Nine Inch Nails 1989 classic. Listen on SPOTIFY
