ELLA HENDERSON ANNOUNCES FIRST SOLO MATERIAL IN FOUR YEARS

Today. Ella Henderson, announces details of her first solo material in four years – a brand new EP, ‘Glorious,’ released via Atlantic Records/Major Toms/Asylum on November 8 (pre-order now). The EP’s title track is available now (listen here) alongside an official lyric video (watch here).

The ‘Glorious’ EP will be the first collection of songs that Ella has released since her debut album ‘Chapter One’ in 2014, and her first since signing with Rudimental to their label Major Toms, home to last year’s biggest-selling breakthrough artist, Anne-Marie.

A deeply personal labour of love, Ella has spent the past year writing and recording the EP in both London and LA. The first taste of the EP, title track ‘Glorious’, is a soulful, empowering record about embracing and celebrating our flaws. A showcase of Ella’s unmistakable voice and fearless songwriting, the slick mid-tempo track tackles issues of self-doubt, body image and the fleeting nature of youth.

Ella says: “Writing ‘Glorious’ was a mind cleansing moment for me, it represents the first time I truly began to start celebrating everything I used to live in fear of. Learning to accept and love yourself for who you are can be difficult in this day and age. ‘Glorious’ stands for everything we should feel about ourselves – empowered and proud.”
