Clean That Shower Head and Your Whole Bathroom

The bathroom gets a lot use every single week. In the process, it’s really easy for dirt to build up inside all parts of the space. The first thing you’ll want to do is make sure your shower head is clean. Take a plastic. Make sure it fits over the entire shower head. Add enough vinegar and water to the plastic bag to fill it completely. Secure it on top of the shower head with rubber bands and leave it on overnight. This same method can be applied to the rest of the bathroom. A simple solution of water and vinegar can be left overnight to help remove any existing stains without the need to spend hours scrubbing them. Or you can also go with a great shower filter.

Cool Drinks

When it’s hot outside, the last thing you want is a hot or tepid drink. If you’re on the go a lot, you’ll need to stay hydrated without lugging bulky coolers with. Before you go to sleep, place a few plastic bottles of your favorite drinks in the freezer. You’ll have naturally iced drinks the next morning. No need for watery ice cubes.

Fetching Lost Items

If your favorite earring gets lost, no need to spend hours searching for it in large spaces. Take a pair of cut down panty hose. Place one end of the panty house across that vacuum cleaner. Secure with tape or a rubber band to a large attachment. Run the hose in all area of the room. If your lost item is there, it will stick to the panty hose without being pulled inside the machine.

Opening Those Jars

Jars are commonly used items in any home. Unfortunately they tend to get stuck a lot. Even the toughest person can fit it hard to open a jar and get to the tomato sauce or cleanser they’ve kept inside it. Physics tells us that metal can be expanded with the use of heat. The simple solution for a jar that’s stuck is to apply heat. Run under hot water or leave in a hot water bath. Bring out and open that jar a few seconds later.

Tight Shoes

Those beautiful pair of shoes that you saw in the store might feel just a bit tight against your feet when you bring them home. No one wants shoes that irritate their feet and make them hard to use. Take newspapers and other material made of paper that you’re not using. Wet them so they’re damp. Place a plastic bag inside the shoes. Stuff the wet material in a plastic bag and then in the cavity of the shoe. Your shoes will be a lot less tight when you wake up.

Unclog Drains

A drain needs to be free of impediments. Over time, items can get inside and lead to massive clogs. Prevention is key to avoiding further problems. Once a month, run hot down the drains the home or office for a minute. The water should be very hot. Put a scoop of baking soda down the drain and follow up with a glass of vinegar. Run the hot water again for a minute. This keeps your drains in perfect working order.

Waterproof Your Boots

Turn any pair of boots waterproof naturally. All you need is some beeswax and a hair dryer. Place the beeswax all over your boots. Gently use the dryer to melt the beeswax over the body of the boots. When you can no longer see it, you’ll have boots that are waterproof.
