The self-produced song is the band’s second single. Succeeding the established musical textures of their single “Down Down“, the song explores a laid back approach to their style. Musically, it follows a minimalistic production and mixes elements of trap, orchestral scores, and pop music.
Lyrically, it is in an invitation for the listener to question growth and changes, and if all of their decisions have brought them to a satisfying life. It shows we as humans can be broken by nature and we can unwillingly become the things we feared to be. Yet, it presents the choice of coming to terms with it and bringing the audience into a feeling of acceptance.
The video, directed by Santiago Fierro, reinforces that idea, showing the band members going through different changes in the way they look or act. It uses different symbols and actions to represent insecurities, loneliness, fears but ultimately acceptance of who we are. Watch here
