Capturing the grand tradition of Northern California rock trios, Of the Wild rings out with catchy, stadium ready anthems.
The band’s name is an homage to the famed author and Sonoma native, Jack London, whose notable work, “Call of the Wild” speaks to the bands ethos of personal discovery through adversity.
Friends since high school, Brandon Holiday, Christian Park, and Lance Harrington have played together and separately for decades. After years apart the trio came back together in pursuit of their most ambitious project to date. Demanding creative excellence, the band has been likened to The Killers, Kings of Leon, and Cold War Kids.
Two mentors stand on either side of the trio: Ronnie Vannucci of The Killers, and producer Andy Freeman. Living down the street from Brandon, Ronnie was an early fan, providing input and guidance. Andy has been an indispensable craftsman, transforming the bands’ demos into the final tracks found on the album.
The new EP “Banshee & Hope” is set to be released later this year!
“Animals’ the FIRST single is Coldplay meets Arcade Fire… giant choruses with ample pay off. A glittering fusion of bolshie vocal and studio sheen.
