Nick Anthony Releases “When I’m Gone (ft. Chloe Gendrow)”

From Philadelphia to the world, electronic artist Nick Anthony has a vision for his sound far beyond his humble 19 years. Starting his musical journey heavily inspired by all the colours of the dance music spectrum, he has since found that his talent has overflowed into pop, alternative and other flavours from across electronic music and beyond. Determined to not be constrained by the limits of so-called genre, Nick expermented tirelessly, forming a crisp and inspired sound, brimming with a sonic identity that is consistent from each release to the next.

Citing inspiration from the likes of Sam Gellaitry and Jon Bellion, it’s no surprise that Nick is anything but your typical producer, and with such artistic progression in his thus far short time as an artist, expect nought but great things.

His music has organically picked up interest from such heavyweight tastemakers as EARMILK, Dancing Astronaut and Indie Shuffle, which have noted his distinctive approach to production sound design.

Releasing August 30th, When I’m Gone, which features the vocal talents of Chloe Gendrow, is the opening salvo to forthcoming EP FRISSON. Setting a tasteful melancholic overture, this guitar-led crossover sets an undeniable groove, that masterfully plays with Nick’s diverse palette of sounds.

Speaking to the motivation behind When I’m Gone, Nick shares:

“The Instrumental to “When I’m Gone” was written at an odd point in my life. A time where i didn’t know what i wanted or where i wanted to end up. To me, the song represents hope.”
