In a world increasingly consumed by fear-based fake news and clickbait driven social media influencers, Whosah’s honesty and authenticity is a refreshing, cool cup of water to anyone that hears one of their songs, dances with them at a show, or just passes them on the street.

The new single is no exception. Written about staying present, Slomo is a refreshing, feel-good song that reflects on the band’s mantra of positivity and realness.

Speaking to the motivation behind Slomo, lead singer Spencer Grimes shares:

“Slomo is about living life in the now — how being present in your current moment is the only moment we actually have. Slomo looks at how thinking, talking and acting quickly can hurt ourselves and the people around us and keep us from being who we really want to be. Slomo asks the question: what do we actually gain from flying through life? What would our lives, dreams, and relationships be like if we took a breath and slowed down? “Can we talk in slow motion, can we fight in slow motion, can you love me slow?”
