More Giraffes aka Mark Hadley and Keeley Bumford aren’t stopping by for one drink. They straight-up came to party. With their 2018 debut EP release “It Was A Joke,”” this LA-based duo teased us with their distinct new wave futuristic pop vibes. And just like that time you went to Costco on an empty stomach, one little sample was definitely not enough.
Lucky for us, these songwriting aficionados are delivering even more carefree pop that just says no to rules, boundaries, and that frustrating cycle of same old, same old. With snaps from Billboard and Nylon and many thumbs up by way of multiple adds to your fave playlists, it’s clear the word is getting out on their tasty jams and just in time for your summer playlist.
Their upcoming EP, “Bermuda” is hitting streams and airwaves this summer. Listeners can look forward to more of their signature mix-n-match of synths, chill pop tracks, and infectiously catchy and weird vocals. These long-necked animal angels describe are excited to share their forthcoming single “Treehouse.”
“We wrote Treehouse with one of our best friends, Jeremy Silver. He had just gotten back from a retreat where he stayed in a literal treehouse in Hawaii, so we wrote this song about getting above it all, in a treehouse. Castle in the clouds, 10 feet off the ground.”
