Award-winning, multiplatinum Latin American group, CNCO announce their new 7 track EP Que Quienes Somos today via Entertainment Weekly. The project is due out on October 11th and available for pre-order this Friday, August 23rd.
In conjunction with the announce, CNCO will also drop new track “Ya Tu Sabes” off the EP this Friday. The song, which includes a sample of Celia Cruz’s “Rie Y Llora,” was written by CNCO with Edgar Barrera, Joey Montana, Njomza Vitia, Steven Franks, Fernando Osorio, Sergio George and Tommy Brown, who also produced. The release of the track also marks the first time Brown, who is behind Ariana Grande’s global hits, is releasing a Latin track.
In addition, CNCO will perform live at the 2019 MTV VMA Pre-Show on Monday, August 26th. The first time VMA nominees are up for “Group of the Year” and “Push Artist of the Year.” They also recently performed at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards, where they won awards for “Choice Latin Artist” and “Choice Latin Song” for their single “Pretend.”
