Last week, pop-punk trio One Up released a new single, “Last Call,” from their debut full-length album Way Up Here produced, mixed and mastered by renowned music producer Taylor Larson.
“Last Call” delivers stand-out drumming, a Chainsmokers call out and a memorable, sing-along chorus. The lead single is accompanied by a music video, directed by Brandan Lee Keller, which personifies the band as borderline unqualified lifeguards breaking just about every pool rule imaginable. Together, they prove that this is the song you want to sing with your friends at the top of your lungs when the party is over after a night (or day) of questionable decisions.
“Last Call” comes a year off the success of the band’s previous single “Hate Me.” It is the band’s third released single to date, and “Last Call” is now available on all major streaming services.
Alongside the single release, One Up announced their upcoming album Way Up Here which includes ten new tracks produced by Taylor Larson (Asking Alexandria, Periphery, I See Stars, Jason Richardson, Luke Holland, From First to Last, Veil of Maya).
“If you follow Taylor, you know that he’s made a dent in the metal scene” said guitarist Nick Reitman. “His mixes are huge, and his drum sound is unparalleled. We wanted that same vibe with our album, and “Last Call” is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to energy on this CD.”
