WWE Boss Vince McMahon Orders Last Minute Change to SmackDown Script

The people working for the WWE chairman Vince McMahon are well aware of his working style and it includes lots of unpredictable decisions for sure. However, things have gone unusual for the past few days for the WWE Smackdown creative team as the WWE boss is not satisfied with the creativity of the team. That’s the main reason why we have seen back to back changes at the last minute in the script of Tuesday Night show of the WWE.

As of last week’s SmackDown, there were various changes in the main event of the show which were made minutes ago the show was live. The most prominent change that was seen in the show was Kofi Kinston’s episode on the show. The WWE champion was to face Daniel Bryan in the main event, but Vince McMahon wasn’t too happy when he saw this. He made his creative team involve Xavier Woods and Eric Rowan for the match, making it a tag team match. However, the WWE chairman again made a change and pulled out the WWEChampion from the match altogether and brought in the third member of the New Day, Big E. Given that the changes were made at the last minute, the things at the WWE Smackdown went from smooth to chaotic soon after Vince arrived at the scene.

The major reason for this change could be the calling off of Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, which is now postponed and a fresh storyline is being started to bring in both Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan somehow. If that’s the case, then this was certainly a planned move but even then the creative team would have known about this for sure. There are other reports speculating that the original match was supposed to be between Andrade and Kofi Kingston, however that does not look so promising as Andrade was nowhere featured on the show.

This was the second consecutive change that came at the last minute for the script writers at WWE Smackdown. Two major changes had also taken place on July 30 episode of Smackdown, where the WWE chairman asked his creative team to put a Champions vs Champions Six Man Tag Team Match, between The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E) and the O. C. (Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and AJ Styles). Also, the match between Finn Balor and Dolph Ziggler was also added at the last minute, as a part of these changes.
