Yes – Venom 2 has officially found its director. The lead of Sony Pictures has set Andy Serkis to direct Venom 2 and deadline regarding this has confirmed. The star-face Andy Serkis will replace Ruben Fleischer for the symbiote’s superhero sequel. Andy himself made a tweet by posting his photo of himself concerning an issue of a Venom comic book on Monday.
Venom 2 will be the third film Lord of the Rings actor has directed, before this movie, he directed 2017 film Breathe, 2018 Jungle Book adaptation of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. Andy is well-known regarding his prominent work as motion capture and voice actor with vital and stunning roles such as Caesar in the “War for the Planet of the Apes,” Snoke in the recent “Star Wars films, and most splendid and famous role as Gollum in “Lord of Rings.”
