Today TWINS releases his cover/video for “Wicked Game.” His rendition of Chris Isaak’s 1989 track forgets the epic slide guitar, speeds it up by about 10 bpm, and gives a whole new wave vibe to the 80s classic. Watch here! The BRVTALIST says “[Wicked Game] has been in our heads ever since the first listen.” Stay tuned for details on the forthcoming album!

Listen to “Wicked Game” –

TWINS, the creative alter-ego of Atlanta producer Matt Weiner, creates heartfelt dark electro, synth pop, industrial dance music with ‘80s influences comparable to John Maus, Bauhaus, Suicide, and Depeche Mode. Having played shows with ADULT., Molly Nilsson, Anika, and many other notable names, it’s hard to pin down what unique genre TWINS falls under.

TWINS on “Wicked Game”

“Wicked Game” has been one of my favorite songs since I first saw the steamy music video on MTV as a young kid. I haven’t recorded any covers as TWINS but after doing a bunch of karaoke with friends over the past year or two I’ve started to think about certain songs in a way that inspired me to filter them through my own imagination.”
