PREMIERE: BLACKLIST REGULARS RELEASE NEW ‘SUPERHUMAN’

Following widespread acclaim for their debut album Through The Blast, Chicago-based multi-national hard-rockers Blacklist Regulars have unleashed a driving new single accompanied by a slick new video. Superhumanis a pounding slice of anthemic rock, and showcases alt-rock guitar riffs, polished production and grungy melodies. It’s available now on Spotify, Apple Music and all other streaming platforms, and you can check out the new video below.

“The song is written around the idea that it’s ok not to be ok sometimes, or ‘Superhuman’ in this case,” explains frontman Luke Keating. “Particularly when it’s focusing on people who spend their lives in the public eye. Having gone through issues myself with alcohol, drugs and depression and come out the other side of it, this song deals with letting go of expectations and overcoming your demons.”

Blacklist Regulars are a combined force of a vocalist from Ireland backed by a band from Venezuela. A lack of musical opportunities and a corrupt political climate led the members to leave their respective countries in search of a brighter future. Arriving in Chicago and looking for like-minded musicians, they soon joined together to pursue their common goal of creating authentic rock music and playing it for true music fans around the world.

Tackling the difficult realities of life, Blacklist Regulars’ songs explore despair, addiction as well as hope and resilience, creating a passionate and honest reflection of the world as they see it.
The band have previously opened for Saving Abel, Adelitas Way, Deadset Society and September Mourning. After a June US tour with Flaw, the boys have a full thirty-day national tour scheduled for the fall on the ‘Days of Disorder Tour’ with Powerman 5000, Hed Pe and Adema.
