Lil Durk embodies the inner conflict and inherent contradictions of street life, struggling to remain true to himself without slipping into destructive habits. Telling his full truth on his most complete and accomplished project to date, Lil Durk shares Love Songs 4 The Streets 2. The proper follow-up to November’s Signed To The Streets 3, Love Songs 4 The Streets 2 stresses the duality of Durk, presenting the face he shows at home with his fiancé India with smooth and emotionally intelligent romantic jams and projecting his street strength on intense anthems. The new album basks in Durk’s peerless melodic instincts on tracks like “Bougie,” a hook-filled bonanza with a guest appearance from Meek Mill, and “Extravagant,” a duet with Nicki Minaj, and showcases “No Auto Durk” on hard-nosed tracks like recent single “Green Light,” the 21 Savage-featuring “Die Slow,” and on “Like That,” a collaboration with his Only The Family signee King Von. With additional appearances from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Key Glock and production from Boi-1da, DY, Jahlil Beats, Go Grizzly, Will A Fool, Chopsquad DJ, Einer Bankz, and others, Love Songs 4 The Streets 2arrives via Alamo Records/Interscope.

This Sunday, August 4th, Durk will host a Back To School drive in Atlanta with local basketball league AEBL. Offering free school supplies & backpacks, free haircuts and stylings, a game featuring some of Atlanta’s best amateur players, and a possible performance from Durk at halftime, the AEBL Back To School event occurs between 3-6pm at Kipp Atlanta Collegiate.

Last week, Durk appeared on “Slide Around,” a standout track from Chance The Rapper’s The Big Day album.
