The Modern Strangers today release the hypnotic visual to accompany their new single and EP title track ‘Visions’. The stunning choreographed piece was directed and executed by the band themselves. Watch ‘Visions’ here –https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqBQGBkwRKc
Speaking about the video, frontman Max Davenport says, “We filmed the video at the beginning of July in a dance studio in London. Thomas Ashton (who is our drummer, Will’s cousin) kindly offered to choreograph a dance routine to the song. We’d seen some videos of his previous work and knew he’d be able to create something amazing for it. He bought in two other incredible dancers, Jasmine and Frankie who we can’t thank enough for coming and being a part of the video.
The video is entirely self-filmed and edited. We were going for a sort of futuristic, end of the world disco and we hope we got that. Thomas, Jasmine and Frankie did an amazing job and we couldn’t have asked for a better video and again, we can’t thank them all enough for being involved and helping make the video what it is!”
The EP was produced by Gordon Mills Jr and was written and recorded in LA and London. Lead single ‘Magic Hour’ was met with a rapturous response on release, hitting the #2 spot on the Hype Machine Chart and is accompanied by a video shot on a glacier in Iceland as well as their homeland of Dungeness and Camber.
