PREMIERE: Break The Robot Release New”Life Goes On” Video

Keeping with our series premieres, we are joining forces with Break The Robot for the release of their new music video for “Life Goes On,” an existential dive into the lonely mind of Drake the Robot, a real lively steam-punk robot in the ‘Break the Robot’ universe. With no master and no mission, he is compelled only by mystical signs and angelic siren calls, pulling him further and further into the wilderness. Break The Robot’s hard-hitting lyrics and powerful melodies act as a passionate backdrop for our heroic, soul-searching man-of-metal. “But it’s in this song, someday, maybe, baby, life goes on” draws parallels between Drake’s hardships and our own. His perilous journey makes us all question our own existence and struggles, bringing hope to the modern world, as even a robot… can earn his wings.

Conceptualized by the bandleader and bassist, Todd Middleman, Break the Robot represents change and growth in all things. The title character Drake the Robot, a real steampunk robot in the Break the Robot universe, continually learns, computes, and discovers more about itself and humanity. Then, Drake breaks. He dies. Repeatedly. But, resurrects each time, never to be free.

It’s cogs are comprised of members from the popular cover band, The Instant Classics. However, as their alternate ego, Break the Robot is greater than the sum of its parts. It’s an idea – with a kickass soundtrack.
