Indi and The Vegas are here to challenge the way we view modern music, blending guitar hooks and classic songwriting to blow the dust off the stagnating production line of today’s industry. Formed of Indi Forde, Joe Cripps and Matt Singleton, the trio met in school as avid musicians with similar music tastes.
The guys have an almost telepathic bond on stage, weaving between each other to create a tapestry of sound that is totally unique, and at the same time so familiar it feels like coming home. Indi and The Vegas have secured sets at festivals and events across the UK and they have played in the US at prestigious LA venues including The Whisky A Go-Go, The Federal and the Viper Lounge to a great reception.
Their first album was self released in 2014, with several tracks being picked up by BBC Introducing, and gaining track of the week status.
The band take influence from Queen all the way to Motown, their summer vibe and dedication has created Round & Round, mastered at the famous Abbey Road Studios produced by an upcoming producer in LA, Zaro Vega, think Post Malone, The Weeknd, the release is a feel good timeless track fit for today’s burgeoning music scene.
Speaking on Round & Round the band say:
This track is the eighth ‘chapter’ of The Getaway, a story in album form about growing up, falling in love, falling out of love, and these joys and heartbreaks all of us get to go through. The couple in the song finally admit that they are going to fight and be mad at each other sometimes and it’s not all roses and plain sailing. It’s the defining point of the story, in all our stories, where we go, ok, we can run away from the work and chase those honeymoon romances, or stick it out, focus on the good and create something real. It’s a joyous, eureka moment and the whole vibe is that summer, feel good ting. Uplifting – Indi and The Vegas
