“Cake”, the newest track taken from his upcoming debut project out on 26 July, is another gorgeous gem packed full of warmth and vibe. With one of the hottest artists in the world right now in Mr. Eazi finessing the sleek, guitar-flecked instrumental, it’s another lesson in classical Ghanaian and a continuing marker of Juls’ standout ability to craft timeless music.

Considered one of the hottest producers in the scene right now (underlined by his recent  work with US rapper Goldink on “U Say” ft. Tyler, The Creator and Jay Prince), Juls has played a key role in the rise of the Afro-pop movement, his early work with Mr. Eazi on hit singles “Skin Tight” and “Bankulize” leading to subsequent hits with superstars Burna Boy and Wande Coal as well as Stefflon Don, Kojo Funds and most recently UK rapper Not3s on “Bad”.

Ahead of Juls’ upcoming project, “Cake” continues to define Juls as both tastemaker and leader of a rare, authentic sound that’s influencing the UK scene on an unprecedented scale right now. With DJ sets already performed at Afrochella in Ghana, Pan Afro Link in NY, and Culture Fest at The Roundhouse in London as well as The Ends Festival, 2019 marks the continued emergence of one of the most innovative and highly respected beatmakers coming out of London.
