How offline branding plays a crucial role in Google SEO Algorithm?

With the rapid growth in the digital world, businesses and entrepreneurs are focusing on the terminology of Online Branding using all social media platforms and resources.

But in order to gain retention and to introduce them self as an entity to the audience, one must not neglect the practices of traditional offline branding. We’ll discuss in detail as to why is offline branding is important in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

A study reported by Econsultancy states that offline branding boosts online searches by about 40 percent!

So it is evident that if you’re missing out on offline branding, your audience reach is limited. The results of the respondents in the survey when asked, what urged them to search for  a business, service, product or a hashtag were 45% from TV, 41% by word of mouth, 23% from Radio, 13% from Billboards/ Advertising boards and, 35% from Print Media like newspapers and magazines.

  • Why Backlinks are important in SEO?

So clearly the goal is to attract viewers/ readers towards your brand through your emails, marketing, posters by providing valuable content to them. Getting backlinks should not be the ultimate goal because ton loads of backlinks are created every day.

In fact, Google provides rankings to all links and are changed when there is an increase in the links.

After the recent update on the algorithm, Google now considers users brand searches. This clearly explains that Google will now change and improve rankings according to people’s interest in a particular website. Google does not consider those websites with a lot of backlinks and very low volumes of brand searches but instead rewards those websites which though having less number of backlinks manage to gain high volumes of brand searches. Though we would always suggest you to outreach bloggers like Degions. This makes it evident that links are not the ultimate factor for Search Engine Optimization.

  • More emphasis on Video Content

The traditional style of branding and marketing have been outdated in 2019. Video platforms have evolved and become more accessible to the masses. Resources like Virtual, Video tutorials and podcasts seem to make more impact on the teens and educated class towards SEO.

Videos provide information which is understood easily and also videos do not take much time as in reading a 1000 words article according to most of the people. So the website and business branding through video tutorials have more impact in gaining traffic on your website.

The best example in this scenario could be Gary Vaynerchuk, a Belarusian American Entrepreneur. Chairman of the New-York based communications company VaynerX and CEO of VaynerX subsidiary Vayner Media is well known for his work in digital marketing and social media.

He brings value to his audience in all forms of content, video, podcasts, written and graphics in a way that grabs their attention. The #AskGaryVee show is one of the highlights where he responds to questions and queries asked by the audience on Twitter and Instagram through the #AskGaryVee show on Youtube with his personal content production Team.

  • Interacting with the customers

Customer interaction is important for good brand promotion. It goes like Some people will not trust your brand until they trust you.

After reading or viewing your content on the website or any other social media platform, people might want to reach out to you through any possible connections. Interacting with these people might not only help them but help you as well in improving the quality of your content through their suggestions and feedback.

  • Conclusion

It is essential to understand that both online and offline branding individually will not define your SEO. Integrating both online and offline branding and marketing will give you the best SEO results. Although digital/ online marketing has taken over the marketing space, there are still many offline strategies to boost your Search Engine Optimization.
