Q. Hi Analise, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

A. Hi I’m doing great! Thank you so much for interviewing me!

Q. Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Aftertaste”?

A. My single “Aftertaste” is about a girl that fell in love with a boy, but then he cheats on her, and then it’s hard for her to forget about him and she still has that aftertaste haha! You can listen to the single everywhere!

Q. Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?

A. I have never experienced a heartbreak before but I knew a lot of girls have.

Q. How was the recording and writing process?

A. I worked with PJ Bianco, he produced it and I co-wrote the song with an incredible writer named Amy. We wrote the song and recorded it in only about 3 hours! It was so much fun to do!

Q. What was it like to work with PJ Bianco and how did that relationship develop?

A. Working with PJ Bianco was so amazing and a great experience to work with someone like him. He is such a perfectionist. He produced the song so amazing and crisp and he even put some thoughts of his own into the writing process. It was such a great experience to work with someone like him.

Q. How much did he get to influence the song?

A. PJ Bianco really influenced the song by producing it and writing some parts in the song.

Q. How your acting background does influences your music and performance as a whole?

A. I’ve been acting since I was 6 so I really feel like when I’m performing a song I can really show different emotions by putting my acting into it. It puts together the whole performance.

Q. Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

A. Yes! I will always have new material coming along! I just went in the studio to record my next single!

Q. Any tentative release date or title in mind?

A. I’m aiming to release my next single by the end of September this year. I have a title but your going to have to wait to find out!

Q. Any plans to hit the road?

A. I’m going to keep making more music for you guys to hear. Keep doing what I love!

Q. What else is happening next in Analise Hoveyda’s world?

A. I’m working on creating a website for myself and creating merchandise to sell. I would love to incorporate my love for fashion along with my music.
