STURGILL SIMPSON ANNOUNCED AS A PANELIST AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2019

GRAMMY® Award-winner Sturgill Simpson has been announced as a panelist at San Diego Comic-Con 2019.  The panel – titled “SOUND & FURY:  Creators of Animatrix and Batman Ninja Unite for Sturgill Simpson” – sees the critically acclaimed, singer-songwriter joining Takashi Okazaki, creator of Japanese manga series “Afro Samurai,” and Junpei Mizusaki, director for the animated film “Batman Ninja,” for a discussion of their forthcoming film, “SOUND & FURY.”  The groundbreaking collaboration merges American rock music and Japanese anime in a way never seen before.  Further details for the film will be revealed at the panel including the debut of the first trailer.  The panel is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, from 7:30-8:30pm in Room 5AB.
