THE DAMNED SELL OUT THE PALLADIUM IN JUST A FEW DAYS

Last week, at an exclusive panel in London featuring Captain Sensible, Jonathan Ross and Simon Oakes (Hammer House Of Horror) The Damned announced two very exciting happenings.

Firstly, a special immersive theatrical experience at The Palladium, which will see the punk band teaming up with iconic film production institution Hammer House Of Horror, and secondly a career spanning best of collection album titled ‘Black Is The Night’.

The Palladium show impressively sold out in just a few days! The band will be competing for the World Record of most Vampires in one place and urge their audience to dress the part. Visuals and immersive theatre will accompany the punk rock show, which won’t be not for the faint of heart! The evening will be opened with a dramatic entrance from the band and a supporting cast cabaret performance from The Circus of Horrors that promises shock, awe and gore!

Commented Captain Sensible at the launch event at The Groucho
‘There’s always been a lot of theatre in The Damned and this style owes something to Hammer! Our audience is always up for dressing up”

Hammer House Of Horror’s Simon Oakes added
“I think there’s a real connection culturally and creatively between The Damned and Hammer, there always has been – great things last forever The Damned and Hammer are still going strong!

‘A Night Of A Thousand Vampires’ at The Palladium will be the band’s biggest UK headline show this year following on from a summer of festival performances at Glastonbury, Rebellion Festival, Y Not and more.

The band have also announced the first ever career-spanning greatest hits collection curated by themselves, titled “Black Is The Night” arriving 25th October via BMG.
