DYLAN EMMET COMES INTO HIS OWN ON NEW SINGLE “TUNNEL VISION”

New York indie-pop singer/songwriter and producer Dylan Emmet shares the third single from his upcoming “Midas EP”  “Tunnel Vision.” The song follows his recent collaboration with Leonell Cassio, “Lie 2 You,” landing on Spotify’s New Music Friday in Sweden as well as his recent single “No Chill” reaching the top 10 on the Hype Machine Popular Chart.

After finding out he had a two year old daughter he never knew about, Dylan began releasing a string of personal and self-revelatory songs documenting his journey, beginning with leaving Los Angeles to become an insta-dad in New York overnight. Currently living with his daughter back in upstate New York, Dylan has continued to successfully write and produce for multiple artists on both coasts by utilizing video chat and taking occasional month long trips to LA to write.

Tunnel Vision is an energetic, slightly left of center pop banger. Dylan seamlessly weaves in and out of rapping and singing over a genre bending track that pulls influences from indie-electronic, hip hop, and rock. Writing and producing the song by himself, Dylan explains the inspiration behind the track:

“Tunnel Vision is about learning to trust my own inner voice. If you really believe in yourself, at a certain point, you have to go all in on who you really are. Tunnel Vision is my message to anyone telling me I’m not doing it “right.” I can’t hear you.”
