CARNAGE, G-EAZY & WIZ KHALIFA COLLABORATE ON “WAIT FOR ME”

Today, Carnage, G-Eazy & Wiz Khalifa have come together to drop “Wait for Me” – A summer breakup anthem for those with summer flings that never quite took off. Produced by Carnage (Migos, Mac Miller, Lil Pump, Steve Aoki), the track is the first time Carnage and his longtime friends, G-Eazy and Wiz Khalifa have collaborated for a single. Purchase / stream “Wait for Me” here.

“G, Wiz and I all go way back. I have known G for over twelve years and Wiz for over ten, so it felt like a family reunion with all us coming together on ‘Wait for Me,’” says Carnage. “When the three of us got together the energy was just crazy and the song of the summer was born.”

“Wait for Me” provides fans with an earworm of a chorus that is sure to be stuck in your head all summer. The trio’s history runs deep, as Wiz Khalifa has been credited as an inspiration to both G-Eazy and Carnage, who used to send Wiz Khalifa beats on UStream back when Carnage was still living in his mom’s basement.

“Diamante (Carnage) and I are like brothers” says G-Eazy. “I have known him for over a decade and we both kinda came up at the same time together. Our EP Step Brothers was just the beginning. It always feels special when we get to make something together and once Carnage got Wiz on the record too, I knew it was going to be huge.”

“I’ve known Carnage for over ten years now, that is my little bro right there and we have always talked about linking up. As soon as he sent me the beat, I knew I had to come through with a verse,” says Wiz Khalifa.
