Amason Shares New Track + Video “Marry Me Just For Fun,” Band Confirms New Album for August 16

Today Swedish supergroup Amason share a new track and a Petter Lennstrand-directed video for “Marry Me Just For Fun,” the second single taken from their forthcoming album, slated for an August release. Now the band confirms that it will be a double album released in two parts. The first part will be released on August 16 and the second part in the spring of 2020.

Director Petter Lennstrand trained with acclaimed Swedish director and puppeteerMichael Meschke at Stockholm’s beloved Marionetteatern puppet theater. Something of a Swedish national treasure, Lennstrand has created a number of popular and critically acclaimed children’s television shows. He’s renowned for his technique of mixing human actors and Muppet-style puppets.

Amason, who recently shared the first new single in three years, You Don’t Have To Call Me.”, will also be playing the Way Out West Festival in Gothenburg, Sweden on August 10th, more information here.
