You can that an entrepreneur is an ordinary person with some extraordinary ambitions. He believes in himself, invests in his future and thrives in a competitive environment. An entrepreneur has to invest his capital, time and all the efforts into his business and tries to make some profit out of that. Sometimes these efforts pay off, making an entrepreneur a successful in the process. Here is a brief list of the top 10 successful entrepreneurs that might inspire you to start your own business, the list is not in any particular order.

  1. Bill Gates:

Bill Gates deserves a position in every list of the top most successful entrepreneurs in the word. He was the chairman and CEO of Microsoft until 2014 when he stepped down. He is now known as a philanthropist and has authored or co-authored many books. He is still one of the richest individuals in the world.

  1. Warren Buffet:

Warren Buffet is an American born philanthropist, a popular investor and a self-made billionaire. He is undoubtedly one of most successful investors on the entire globe. He owns a majority of Berkshire Hathaway’s shares and also has shares in other major multinationals.

  1. Ann Sanders:

Ann Sanders is an Australian born TV journalist. She is active in this field since 1980. Ann has won various awards like the Logie Award and the most famous female TV personality in western Australia (1981). Ann has recently stared a blog named AGreenHand to help Gardeners and Homeowners with their tasks. She is the only woman in our top 10 entrepreneurs list tanks to her creative ideas and a shining career.

Michael Dell is an American entrepreneur and is of course the founder of the Dell Inc. which is one of the leading sellers of the Dell computers worldwide. Dell has also founded an investment company to manage his personal investments. His company has many times been listed in the fortune 500.

Richard Branson is an English businessman and a globally renowned philanthropist. He is the founder of the Virgin group, which includes over 400 companies all over the world. He was so passionate about becoming an entrepreneur that he launched a magazine called “Student”at the age of sixteen.

  1. Carlos Slim:

Carlos Slim is known as the Warren Buffet of Mexico. He has made most of his fortune form the vast range of holdings that he has acquired over the years. He is mostly invested in many of the successful Mexican companies. Slim also owns a couple of companies. He always knew that he wanted to be a businessman, and started to build his links and investment portfolio from a young age.

  1. Sergey Brin:

Brin was born in Russia, at the age of 6, he immigrated with his family from the soviet Russia to the united states in the hope of a better life. He completed his basic education from the University of Maryland and later the Stanford University. Brin later on went to co-found Google with his best friend Larry Page. Right now, Brin owns the Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc. Brin and Larry left their PhD studies to continue maintaining Google.

  1. Mark Zuckerberg:

Mark Zuckerberg is basically a programmer; he is also involved in many charitable works and is known worldwide as an internet entrepreneur. He is the name behind the famous and heavily used social media site Facebook. The social media site was a masterpiece of him and his classmates at the Harvard University (he is a dropout for Harvard). Mark is known as a philanthropist too, Facebook recently announced that they would give 99% of their shares to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

  1. Jeff Bezos:

Jeff Bezos’s full name is Jeffery Peterson Bezos. He started his career in tech and investment. Later he became an entrepreneur and successfully launched one of the biggest e-commerce platforms in the world “Amazon.com”. He started off by selling only books on Amazon, but later on went to expand his inventory to all the things we use in our daily lives. Bazos has also recently bought the Washington Post newspaper. He has developed Amazon as a role model for the e-commerce industry, and has also invested in a number of other businesses lately.

  1. Larry Elison:

Larry Elison is the co-founder of the American based database firm Oracle Corporation. The competes with some major competitors in the US and has made its name because of its reliability. Larry Elison has donated a part of his wealth towards charity. He also is a registered pilot and owns some jets which he loves flying. So, you can say that he definitely is enjoying his wealth and success.
