Nightcars Release “Disappear”

Nightcars is a band from Madrid, Spain whose lineup is Nick, Cial and Mebs. The sound that surrounds the band is a nostalgic mix of decades in which experimentation plays an important role in the outcome of music. The name comes from the song “Running with the Night” by Lionel Richie, it is a song that identifies a lot of the members with the project.”

In 2017 their first record (Extended Play) was released. The single: Neon Girl was positioned in several YouTube channels and Spotify playlists that created a small fanbase for the band. A year later, the band released “Face It”, a single that features the collaboration of pop and R & B singer Will Decaff. The band now returns with a taste of their new material in the form of “Disappear.”

“This isn’t the first ‘disappear’ song we have made. The first idea when I did the lyric was a dark instrumentation, with an atmosphere so dense that you could practically swum in it. It didn’t feel right… Dreams about leaving doesn’t have to be that dark and intense, on the contrary, I think it can be innocent, that’s why we all had some days that we want to drop it all, and for some of us, that idea in our heads comes with a cheerful soundtrack… For some of us, the dark atmosphere comes after realizing that we can’t just disappear. Wow, not a fun fact at all, but I guess it would do!” – Nick Marchena!
