Meernaa‘s debut full-length Heart Hunger is out this Friday, and today the Bay Area band shared an explosive new song, “Ready To Break.” Frontwoman Carly Bond says, “‘Ready to Break’ came from a place of frustration, anger and naïveté. It’s an expression and reflection on gender inequality: both the hyper-awareness and the repression of that awareness in order to maintain sanity. How those feelings manifest as a womxn in love, the workplace and life in general.”
Heart Hunger is out June 14 on Native Cat Recordings and also features the previously released singles “Better Part” and “Thinking Of You.” It is available for pre-order HERE.
