Hi Sshine, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

I’m alright, just trying to shine.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single ‘The Wave?

The track was recorded last year towards the end of summer, during that time it was all work through the week and drink up/party weekend. The song represents the mood at the time. “Work hard play harder”.

Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?

Yes im always getting told i scrub up nice and nearly lost my life because of lack of sleep… I asked Bda (the feature) about what he is singing on the chorus that day in  the studio he just laughed.

How was the recording and writing process?

The recording was fun, Bda  and i turned up to the studio with a few friends and a bottle of Belaire and got creative. Writing was easy because the song presents our lifestyle.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?

I think Maleek Berry is very talented.

What else is happening in Sshine’s world?

Well at the moment I am about to release a next music video to another track off my EP. And also working on a fresh club banger with an R&B singer which I plan to release this summer.

Who is your musical inspiration?

50 cent.

What song do you have on repeat?

Timaya – Balance.

If you could perform in any venue in the world where would it be and why?

To be honest I have not really thought about that, but I am really aiming to get on stage and start performing at events and clubs, work my way up.

Does the new track mean we can expect new material in 2019?

For sure! Its only right.
