INTERVIEW: Tyler Gomez

Hi Tyler, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Hi there, I have been doing really good, thank you. =)

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “They Won’t Stop Us Now”?

Of course! They Won’t Stop Us Now is about a couple who isn’t going to let anyone or anything get in the way of them. No matter what people might say or what happens between them they will always fight through it and make it out even stronger together.

Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?

I always love singing songs about love so that is always an inspiration. I’m a sucker for all the cutesy romantic stuff, I just think it is really sweet.

Any plans to release a music video for the single?

As of right now, no. But there is a lyric video for the song on my YouTube channel under Tyler Gomez. I love how it turned out, The Director who made it is named Johnny Soto with the SCG Agency and the video is at a resort and beach during the summer.

They Won’t Stop Us Now Lyric Video:

How was the recording and writing process?

The whole process was amazing, it was recorded in Burbank California in a recording studio in the custom car shop West Coast Customs, I got to work with Gemini Muziq and Michelle Rose and they are amazing! They are honestly the nicest and most talented people.

What role does Central Californication play in your music?

There isn’t really that big of a music scene here in Clovis of course compared to Los Angeles, but they do have concerts here, both for big artist and smaller ones, I remember I got to see Ariana Grande perform here in Clovis/Fresno at the Savemart Center and I feel that seeing her along with other artist Like Beyoncé perform live has defiantly inspired me to want to make my own music.

How your background as an influencer does influences or helps you with your music and the other way around?

I feel that now being on social media goes hand in hand with almost any field of entertainment, from acting, music, to modeling. I mean even people like Will Smith and Kevin Heart are on instagram and youtube. I think it defiantly helps a lot since Social Media is one of the biggest things that Keeps us all connected with our friends, family, and people we follow. I think it’s just so cool how we can be doing something in California and someone on the other side of the work in the UK can see it and start connecting you guys. I absolutely love that about social media. I think that is one of my favorite things about it.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

Actually yes! I just finished arranging / producing a new track that I’m excited to release next. I’m super excited for it, The whole recording process and just being able to make something new is decently my favorite part. But yes there is new music coming as well as a lot more social media content. I’m super excited! It’s going to be so much fun.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

As of right now no, but you can defiantly follow me on my Instagram, Snapchat, and/or TikTok for updates @TylerGomezMusic

Any plans to hit the road?

As of right now no, But that would be amazing!  Hopefully one day. I love performing, I think its so much fun to be able to just get on stage and have a good time and see everyone else having a good time as well.

What else is happening next in Tyler Gomez’s world?

Social Media and More Music, right now lots of social media content on TikTok, Instagram, and Snap and working on new music to release. Those are both my favorite things to be working on, I just think its so much fun. =) Well there’s that and school, haha I do school online so I can work on music and social media. It lets me travel when I need to to record, go to red carpets, and anything else that might pop up along the way. I like it, not only because it lets me do what I love and still go to school, but also because I get to do my classwork laying down on a bed or a couch in my pajamas. Haha. =)
