Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real Share Official Music Video For “Bad Case”

Today, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real released the official music video for “Bad Case” the rollicking, Traveling Wilburys inspired first single from their upcoming new album, Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) out June 14th, 2019 via Fantasy Records. The clip, co-directed by Adria Petty and Alan Bibby, was shot at Willie Nelson’s historic Luck Ranch, outside of Austin, TX. Watch the video HERE.

“Lukas and Promise of the Real are amazing musicians and human beings, so it was a huge honor to work on this collaboration shoulder to shoulder,” said Petty. “And it was a dream come true getting to direct again with Alan Bibby (we co-directed “Princess Of China” for Coldplay and Rihanna previously) as he is one of my dearest friends and co-creators. We were both raised on Willie Nelson and Outlaw country, so shooting at such an amazing place with such special energy as Luck Ranch was incredibly inspiring. The video is a combination of genres we love – the color reversal look of Sergio Leone’s classic westerns, Easy Rider, and the experimental nature of 60s psychedelic films and rock imagery.”

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real’s jam-packed summer tour schedule includes two sold-out shows at San Francisco’s Filmore Auditorium this weekend, May 31st and June 1st, a special sold-out record release show at NYC’s Webster Hall on June 12th, followed by an appearance on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Monday, June 17th.
