“Fahrenheit” is the reggae infused club anthem from Trinidad and Tobago-born, London-based Kojo Rigault. For his brand new single, multi-chart topping Kojo Rigault has teamed up with hit songwriter Winston Sela (Maxi Priest, Aswad, Barrington Levy, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Shabba Ranks) and dance producer/remixer K Warren (Brandy & Monica, Whitney Houston, Maxi Priest, Lil Wayne). It tells the story of a girl who sets the temperature rising everytime she walks into the office. This innovative track in Kojo’s inimitable reggae-pop style follows the UK top ten chart hit Loved Up. Fahrenheit has already been confirmed for Track of the Week of Riverside Radio and Kojo Rigault has been asked to perform at the Wandsworth Fringe Festival, with more shows soon to be announced for the summer.
Kojo’s music story began at an early age when he joined New Creation, a Boyz II Men inspired boy band with his childhood friends who became an overnight sensation after their appearance on Trinidadian TV show ‘Party Time’. The group gained the attention of Eddy Grant, which led to the recording of their first album ‘Spirits of Gold’ and gaining #4 single in the European music video charts with their cover of the Beatles single ‘Hey Jude’. They broke into the UK Top 40, winning a best Caribbean R&B group award and scoring a place in Trinidad & Tobago’s history as one of the country’s best known pop groups. As a solo artist, Kojo Rigault gained club, press and radio success by working with Craig David’s producer Mark Hill, head of A&R at Jetstar, Dee Leng, and most recently, dance producer/remixer K Warren.
