Based on frontwoman Mia Berrin’s personal experience with mental illness, the track creates a buildup of emotion and frustration, finally erupting in panic-driven glory. In “Heavy Heavy,” Mia evokes the understated fury and power of PJ Harvey, letting loose but leaving the listener anxious for more, promising to deliver on the next release.
