London nightlife phenomenon, PEST FEST are set to host another inspiring and provocative line up of musicians and DJ’s in their new spiritual home at Arcola Bar, a great new space in Dalston on Friday the 31st of May 2019.
The night will feature a special live set from USHIO a truly exciting collaboration that features members of Japanese noise psych outfit Bo Ningen and Australia’s Jagwar Ma who effortlessly combine their love of American harmonies with Joe Meek & King Tubby to great effect. Prior to that performance, Brighton’s snotty garage punk merchantsStrange Cages will take to the stage to exclusively preview tracks from their forthcoming debut album on Vallance Records. Holly from South London post punk quartet Goat Girl will be on DJ duties throughout the evening so expect the best selection of tunes around and more.
The PEST FEST event is just the latest of the many innovative one-off and regular nights that will take place at the recently revamped Arcola Bar. Situated in the Arcola Theatre in the heart of Dalston, the 250 capacity bar is licensed till 3am and promises to be a key nightlife location for exciting and emerging talent in music, art and performance in London.
