PREMIERE: Mister Moon Release New Single “Less Than/Greater Than”

Mister Moon is a four piece alt group from Norwalk, Ohio, just west of the greater Cleveland area. Interlocking drum and percussion parts are carefully crafted with patience and attentiveness by the bands two drummer center, while synth tones and heavy bass give ground for ethereal melodies to be woven into this rhythm centered alternative group from Northern Ohio.

With the bands newest single, “Less Than Greater Than” , Mister Moon experiments with adding and removing certain tones and instrumental themes within a song , while also focusing on the disparity between a minimalist approach to the groundwork of a piece and what can happen when you gradually add more sounds and more ideas as the work progresses. The music video was produced and directed by the bands own, Cory Webb, who definitely took a minimalist DIY approach to match the feel of the song from beginning to end. “Someone had the idea to wash a bunch of weird stuff in really dirty water , and we thought it was cool and just went with it.” The track was produced and recorded in Cleveland, Ohio with local music group, Moshuro, who very much contributed to the overall feel and sound of the track. Moshuro has made a name for themselves in the Northeast Ohio area as top tier sought after producers , and there will definitely be more collaborations to come.

Mister Moon splits their home bases between Columbus and Cleveland and is developing a regional following that is becoming more solid as the group tours in different places. More new music and videos to come almost every month in 2019, with a full record later in the year.
