Nathan Jurries Releases New Single “Origami”

Nathan Jurries is a musician and performer hailing from Kansas City. Using looping pedals, Nathan challenges the conventional musical experience by creating a “one man band” on the spot using his acoustic guitar, keyboard, and voice.

Now VENTS is teaming up with Naathan for the release of “Origami”, a quirky alt.folk/pop track that casts a wide net; touching on Japan, the oligarchy and dirty money. “Origami” teases the release of Nathan’s Gap Year EP, which lands in early June 2019.

“Origami” is a fun, quirky kind of a nonsense song.  It’s about how I want to visit Japan and topple the oligarchy… not at the same time, but who knows!  I wrote this song by laying down some acoustic guitar loops and just having some fun with it. Served best upbeat and with a side of mischief.  Every part of the song was performed, recorded, and produced by yours truly! adds Jurries.

Nathan is currently lining up a May tour that will include stops in-between his university home of Boston, Massachusetts and hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. Confirmed dates below, with more to be added shortly.
