Blues Hologram is the brainchild of notable musician Robert Bruce. His music has been heard in television placements and more around the world…so you’ve probably heard his music before. A composer and songwriter, Bruce spearheads Blues Hologram, and today they release their new single “Leaving It All Further Behind.”
Robert Bruce shares regarding the new song:
“Leaving It All Further Behind” is a 60s/70s-inspired feel-good song about moving on from an unhealthy relationship and drawing lines when someone gets too careless. I have to comment on the Blues Hologram singers and musicians in this recording, especially lead vocalist Martina Aswani and bassist Mark Shannon… just fantastic. And, amazingly, even though I’ve been playing Hammond organ for over 4 decades, and I’ve been recording a lot for over 2 decades, this is actually the very first time I’ve recorded Hammond organ on one of my own (or anyone else’s for that matter) tracks. So it’s a perfect setting for my Hammond debut, in the recording world.
Throughout his life Bruce was intrigued by music, even from his earliest years. Not only did he feel inspired by pop and rock, he was also attracted to the semi classical background music of cartoons. Throughout his career, he has teamed up with European publishers, which in turn has exposed his music on television shows across the world. Inspired by artists such as Emerson Lake and Palmer, Genesis, Robert Schumann. , and Gentle Giant, Bruce takes subtle elements from his influences, and creates a unique and vibrant vision of his own.
Blues Hologram tends to play a diverse set of music that will lure most ears, with the main focus of Bruce’s life-long fascination with the Blues. This has created one of his most musically creative periods to date alongside his bandmates.
