Westward Music Festival Announces First Round Of Performers For Four-Day Music Festival September 12-15

Westward Music Festival – Vancouver’s premier multi-genre, multi-venue music festival returns to the heart of downtown Vancouver for its third year from September 12-15.  The city’s largest four-day music festival spread across multiple venues will feature some of today’s most influential music acts from around the world including; New York based, Japanese singer, songwriter, rapper and producer Joji, Australian indie rock-folk band The Paper Kites, American singer-songwriter Lissie, Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit, Brooklyn rapper Leikeli47, Vancouver’s own Black Mountain and many more.

“We are excited to have Westward Music Festival return in its third year to the Vancouver community, bringing local and international artists to iconic venues such as The Vogue, Imperial and The Biltmore right in the heart of Vancouver,” shares Justin Kwan, Director of MRG Concerts.  “We are confident that this is our most exciting and energetic lineup to date, and we hope that we can continue to present the city with world class musicians alongside Vancouver’s amazing artists.”

Pre-sale tickets are available beginning at 12 p.m. PST today through www.eventbrite.ca. General on-sale begins at 12 p.m. PST on Wednesday, May 1st through www.westwardfest.com and www.eventbrite.ca and locally at Red Cat Records.

Also joining the 2019 diverse line up of established and emerging artists are Busty And The Bass, Mt. Joy, Junglepussy, The Wonder Years, Joseph, Owen Pallett, Le1f, Ziggy Alberts, Titus Andronicus, Elder Island, Why?, Zack Villere, Travis Thompson, Honors, as well as a selection of local Vancouver acts including Harlequin Gold, Bombargo, Little Sprout, Needles//Pins, Casinos, Chase Your Words, Chief State, Kim Gray, Club Sofa, and Douse with more to be announced soon.
