SUNGLO Release “Elevator Belle”

After releasing their first single ‘I Don’t Mind’ last year, Manchester band SUNGLO have been crafting an onslaught of releases set to pleasure your ears across 2019 and beyond. The dreamy grunge-pop rockers are about to embark on their next campaign. Released on the 19th April, their new single ‘Elevator Belle’ breaks genre-boundaries and takes their eccentric psychedelic goodness up another notch. Listen here

Fronted by Kady Jones, whose euphoric husky voice transcends the track into new levels of haziness, the 4-piece have a unique ability to have you in a complete daze one minute, then head-banging the next. Backed by Oli Foster (Bass), Sam O’Reilly (Drums) and Cameron Davies (Lead Guitar), SUNGLO change from melancholic easy-listening to fuzzy, arena-worthy choruses in a heartbeat. On creating ‘Elevator Belle’ the band added:

“Elevator Belle was basically written live and improvised from a theme which turned out to be about living with bipolar. It’s built on the contrast of feeling elated one minute and completely empty the next, sometimes without any immediate cause. This was a song that came together naturally because it’s a raw concept we could all relate to and hope other people can relate to as well.”

With shows lined up at Jimmy’s, Manchester and Alternative Escape on the 10th May, as well as just supporting Orchards, SUNGLO are soon turning themselves into ‘ones-to-watch’ as they fearlessly deliver their intoxicating controlled chaos time and time again.

Now armed with new single ‘Elevator Belle,’ they’re taking the year by storm and they want every single one of you to join them – who’s in?
