Luis Santiago, popularly known as deCasa, has released his debut single “RAIN.” The title fits the solemn sound of the record perfectly. deCasa explains the title, “the song was ultimately inspired by a rainy night in Puerto Rico that I spent with a girl. The lyrics came from the frustration I had wanting to be with her, but knowing it would never work out, however the instrumental came a few months later after my first show and I was in a much more upbeat headspace which is why the instrumental is more up-tempo.” The guitar and bass melodies flow smoothly with deCasa’s vocals. Born in Puerto Rico, deCasa’s music is heavily influenced from his native island as well as his newfound home in the states. deCasa is solely responsible for the composition of all his songs as well as his own songwriting. Blogs have compared deCasa’s sound to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Fans and audience members can expect to hear original songs from deCasa’s catalog as well as a few covers during deCasa’s live performance.

In deCasa’s fun, energetic live show, he will be joined by his guitarist and drummer. deCasa is a student at Texas A&M University and is becoming a very well-known musician in the Bryan-College Station area.
