Ascending Rapper Elijah Drops Moody ‘Slither’

New face on the scene, North London rapper Elijah has come through with his debut single as a solo artist with ‘Slither’ – giving us an impressive first glimpse of what’s to come from him this year. Listen here

Following on from his huge yet underrated joint project ‘Hours’ with fellow rapper and friend Decarno, where features from the likes of Brandz and House of Pharaoh’s own Blaze YL were shut down, Elijah has set the bar very high for his future projects and ‘Slither’ definitely does not disappoint. The track is an ode to keeping it 100, with Elijah stating, “It’s is an ode to all the fake people around me at that time. There was a lot of snakey behaviour about, hence the title Slither” and with the production, courtesy of MG, providing a dark and eerie contrast to this humble meaning.

Elijah has used his passion for freestyling and gift of rapping with ease and put it into something others can appreciate. It wasn’t until him and Decarno, met one of the UK’s most gifted emerging producers MG, where things really came to life. Using their mutual passion for making greatness, the trio built a studio and began recording, producing, mixing and mastering a variety of tracks themselves – 2018 saw Elijah and MG working closely together to create a library of huge(!) tunes ready to drop this year.

We’re extremely excited about this one and with ‘Slither’ as a significant introduction to Elijah as an artist; his crisp imagery and authentic sound is a promising formula for success. Keep locked into his movement’s this year, there’s a lot more heat to come.
