G-REX Releases A “Requiem” For Wakaan

Wakaan has just delivered us a punchy, deep and dark EP collection from G-REX. The artist recently had his track “Babatunde” with Peekaboo remixed for a standalone set, and now has four tunes making up Requiem.

He has gone heavy for this release, and says: “Really excited to finally get this EP out. I feel like this body of work really shows the progression of my sound and is much more aggressive than the last.” 

Out of the four tunes on offer, we are particularly feeling “Asylum” with its edgy atmospherics and shattering bass notes and “Voodoo,” a screw-face collaboration with STUCA that still hits a melodic tip.
