Pirate Copy & Kinnerman – Disco Chief EP [elrow] Out Now

Joining forces for what might just be one of the summer’s most exciting releases, Pirate Copy and Kinnerman both return to ElRow Music with a brand new two-tracker in the shape of the Disco Chief EP.

Though unconfirmed, the title track – Disco Chief – is quite possibly a homage to one of the industry’s biggest characters and a therefore a more than apt name for the tried-and-tested dancefloor weapon. The driving rhythm is backed up by a powerful sub-bass, an electric synth sequence and a ‘French Kiss’ style breakdown which leaves crowds wanting for more. And at the groovier end of the spectrum, Ripcord is a stripped-back affair that weaves a vocal sample over a rolling bassline and some precision percussion for a heavyweight stomper that goes off every time.

Supported by names like Danny Howard, Detlef, Solardo, Latmun, Eli Brown and many more, you can expect to hear this one being rinsed out on terraces all summer long.
